About Zelda

Zelda’s love for travel began in childhood, inspired by her nature-documentary-filmmaker parents and the global treasures that filled their home. Surrounded by carvings from Kenya, Sri Lankan art, and Panamanian shells, she grew up wishing for travel books and maps.
After receiving her first passport, she lived in Italy and spent weekends exploring Europe. A vacation to the Dominican Republic introduced her to her now husband, and she later made the island home for more than three years. Known among friends and family as the go-to travel expert, Zelda eventually turned her passion into Zelda Travel & Co., where she now creates unforgettable, bucket-list trips for her clients.

Thanks to our trusted partnerships with hotels, tour operators, and private properties, you’re treated like a VIP guest, not just a reservation number.

  • Travel advisors are already paid a small commission from hotels for bookings.

    We only charge a planning fee for our other full service packages to account for our time, research, and expertise.

  • Our Essentials package starts at $500 per week of travel. While our VIP Package starts at $200 per travel day.

    If you already know where you want to stay, then hotel bookings are always free!

  • Two ways. Hotels and tour partners compensate us through commissions already built into published rates—whether you book with us or a large online platform. For bespoke itineraries, a planning fee reflects the expertise and care behind every detail. All fees are always disclosed upfront.

  • We go beyond what your credit cards offer due to the relationships we build in the industry. Standard perks at partnering hotels include complimentary breakfast for two, flexible check-in/out, $100 property credits, and welcome amenities.

  • Not at all. In most cases, you’ll pay the same rate you’d find on your own—enhanced with VIP amenities like daily breakfast, priority upgrades, and late checkout. We also occasionally unlock preferred industry rates and pass those savings along. Add to that our constant rate monitoring and rebooking when prices drop, and the time you save is simply a bonus.

  • Yes! We design trips to meet the needs of every traveler whether that be wheel chair rentals, limited mobility tours and private transfers.

  • Timing varies by destination and style of travel, but as a general guideline, reaching out 6–8 months in advance is ideal. The earlier we connect, the sooner we can secure the most sought-after accommodations and experiences the moment reservations open.
